Telegram-style bio -- born in Germany almost 87 years ago, he had much of his education -- elementary, high school and a few semesters of university -- in Germany too. Bummed around Europe for 3 years and then (1957) emigrated to Canada. Taught in Canada (15 yr), in Germany (2 yr), in Africa (7 yr) and in Saudi Arabia (7 yr). Has been jogging for half a century and, though almost 87, still jogs daily, rain or shine, summer or winter.
